These are special types of cements that are suited for use high temperature settings.A range of material to cover temperatures from 1350 C to 1800 C. These refractory castables are the most suitable for general applications ranging from boiler work, general furnace applications, burner blocks to specialty muffle furnaces and wood fired ovens.

This Castable is designed to display low density and low thermal conductivity to keep heat energy and reduce fossil energy consumptionInsulating castable refers to a specific family of refractory castable (refractory concrete). Insulating castable is designed to display low density and low thermal conductivity to keep heat energy and to reduce fossil energy consumption. It has very low density as well as low thermal conductivity that is why it is used in petrochemical and process industries to conserve heat energy and reduce fuel cost. Insulating castables are very brittle in nature, as it is made up of highly porous aggregates. Hence, it requires high water addition.

​Low Cement Refractory Castable

This type of castable has CaO content less than 2.5% in the calcium aluminate cement-bonded refractory castable.

Low-cement refractory castable refers to the castable with CaO content less than 2.5% in the calcium aluminate cement-bonded refractory castable. That is to say, the addition amount of calcium aluminate cement is about 1/2~1/3 of the castable of ordinary calcium aluminate cement castable.

​Fire Clay Refractory Castable

For aggregate with bauxite and flint clay, silica powder, calcium aluminate cement, water reducing agent prepared general castable.Clay Refractory Castable is a castable refractory material prepared by using soft clay as a binder and refractory aggregates, powders and admixtures such as aluminum silicate or corundum mullite. The composition of the clay castables is generally 55% to 65% for refractory aggregates, 20% to 30% for refractory powders, and 10% to 15% for combined (soft) clays. The maximum allowable particle size of refractory aggregate is 8mm, and the aggregate size of aggregate is 8~5mm, 35%~40%; 5~3mm, 30%~35%; <3mm, 25%~30%. The particle size requirement of the refractory powder is less than 0.074 mm and accounts for more than 90%. The combined clay particle size should be less than 0.074mm and account for over 95%.
